About me

I’m Albert Gabri, a finance and accounting executive, entrepreneur, and investor based in Los Angeles.

My career started in corporate America, where I spent more than two decades in finance, accounting, mortgage banking, and real estate. I held leadership roles at Countrywide Financial Corporation, Bank of America, and PennyMac Financial Services, working on financial reporting, capital markets operations, controls, analytics, and large-scale mortgage portfolios.

After years in corporate finance, I served as CFO for real estate investment companies in Los Angeles, overseeing accounting operations, investor reporting, payroll, technology, cash flow, and strategic financial planning.

I later founded PNL Advisory to bring that same level of financial discipline and executive-level support to business owners, entrepreneurs, and real estate investors.

Outside of my advisory work, I’m an active investor in real estate, equities, and digital assets. I also own a solar company, which reflects my interest in energy, infrastructure, and long-term asset ownership.

When I’m not working or studying markets, I enjoy traveling and playing chess. I’m admittedly obsessed with chess and will play a quick match with strangers online whenever I get the chance. For me, chess is more than a game — it’s a reminder to think ahead, stay disciplined, and make every move count.
